ARC Book Review - Writing Mr. Right (Dating in the City), by Jillian Dodd

  Book Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is a shorter novella length book.  Kitty Valentine is a best selling writer. But her last book didn’t make the best sellers list. Her agent and publisher want her to change her soft loving romance stories to change to harder romance. S** sells is what her agent and publisher tell her. That’s not what she writes. Her best friend tells her that also. Soft romance isn’t what’s ‘in’. She needs to find a different romance trope and write to that new trope.  Kitty knows the owner - Blake of the publishing house is going to be a key note speaker in a few days and she snags a ticket to go hear him. When Blake ends his talk Kitty tries to talk with him but someone pushes her to the ground instead. But, that seems to work in her favor and now Blake has his attention drawn to Kitty. Book Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Odette Chambers is a wedding planner. But, lately her wedding planning has taken a hit. One wedding the flower boquet the bride to be carried turns out she was allergic to those and wound up having an allergic reaction. Not Odette's fault, the florists fault really. This is book #5 in the series, you don't have to read the previous books in the series to enjoy this you'll see previous characters.  We do have dueling points of view with Daisy and Cash. And dueling flashbacks from their teenage years.  Daisy Adair and her sister Hadley, were in the foster care system while they were growing up.
