This is book #5 in the series, you don't have to read the previous books in the series to enjoy this you'll see previous characters.  We do have dueling points of view with Daisy and Cash. And dueling flashbacks from their teenage years.  Daisy Adair and her sister Hadley, were in the foster care system while they were growing up.
