My book review: This is the 2nd book in the series, Perfects is book #1. You don't need to read book 1. Each character is explained in this book #2. Quinn - In the 1st book, Perfects we know Quinn is from a very wealthy family. He gets more money / gifts than actual love it seems from his family. Throw money at whatever problem and it will fix itself. Quinn finished high school and is now on a gap year, trying to figure out what he wants to do - which college he wants to go to. But, for now, he's in Seaside, on a vacation of sorts. Chloe is in the right place at the right time and saves Quinn from falling / injury. Chloe seems like she would be a fun person. She is shy, until she gets to know you more then she will open up. Chloe has a chronic illness, she will faint / feel woozy at a drop of a hat. Telling people about it is her downfall.
