ARC Book Review - The Devil Himself (Devil of Dublin, #2) by B.B. Easton

Book Rating  ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is the 2nd book in the series. You will need to read book 1 - The Devil of Dublin before.

The Irish coastal towns are bombed by the new Russian president, a Bratva leader seeking revenge on the United Irish Brotherhood - UIB.  They are headed to invade Dublin, and are destroying all the towns they come across. The Russian military members are saying they will take the people hostage, and release them, but, they aren't. They are killing the men, and abusing and raping the women they 'collect'.

Clover has read the fairy tale books by Darby Donovan.  Once she gets to the small town of Glenshire, and into the forest, Clover -- Darby feels awakened. Clover knows she was shown her past life from Saoirse who united it all for her. Damien -- Kellan -- doesn't seem to believe her about her vision that Saorise has shown her.

When Clover was growing up she was often called Crazy Clover. Now that she is telling Damie about the past lives they  shared she is feeling like she is back to being Crazy Clover with him not believing her. Clover wants to stay hidden in the secret spot, but Damien wants to escape and go back out into the world that's being invaded.

This is a 'what if' book. What would happen if.....It is heavy on Irish Folklore.

I did receive a free ARC copy of this book. I am freely leaving an honest review.
