Standalone motorcycle club romance.

MC Biker VP Shane King "Ghost" grew up in a small town. But now he's not a teenage bully, he's a grown man who served in the military and overseas in war. Shane has demons he fights, and when he goes out to fight for the MC club he uses a hockey mask, when the mask comes out everyone knows Shane means business. 

Kali, is recently divorced, and now back in her hometown. She didn't know where else to go. SO, she went where your best friends from high school were. Now she's wasting away working in the local grocery store, not knowing what to do next. She went to college for her nursing degree. But, stocking groceries in the store is what she can manage now. Her mom and sister are also in the same small town, but she avoids them like the plague. She's been back 3 months and still hasn't stepped foot in her mom's bar or her sisters hair salon. 

One night at the grocery store some bikes came in fighting a few others. Kali breaks them apart and kicks them out. Soon after their VP shows up to see who kicked them out and who would go up against the guys. Once Shane sees Kali he knows all too well what she is capable of doing. Kali knows it's Shane and calls him by his real name not his biker name. 

Kali has no beef with Shane, but she finds out that he won't leave her alone until she asks him for a favor, because her brother is doing them a favor, she wants to know why her brother is helping them and why they owe him. Kali doesn't want anything more to do with Shane, until her sister disappears with them and her mom makes her go after them to bring her sister home. 

What lies around the corner in California? What will Shane and his crew get dragged into? What will Kali walk into herself?
