ARC Book Review - The Heartbreaker (Spade Hotel, #4) by Marni Mann

This is the 4th book in the series. You don't need to read the others as they are standalones. Tropes: single dad, billionaire, age gap

Ridge, loves working with his family, but also hates working for his family. Ridge is in charge of the California properties. He feels like he is torn between his home and Malibu to finish the property there and the one in Beverly Hills. He is driving all the time and sitting in traffic.

Ridge has a 6 yr old with his ex, who has started school and is now in 1st grade. Ridge doesn't know if she's ready for 1st grade, but, after meeting her teacher and seeing how she is understanding more than the other kids it helps put his mind at ease. 
 
Addison (Addy) Lark, is a teacher, Ridge's daughters teacher more specifically.  They met before Addy knew his daughter, and now she's not sure if she should stay on to teach her or not. But, Addy has always wanted to be a teacher and be around kids. Addy does love Ridge's daughter. His ex she's not to sure about. 

Addy and Ridge met in a place they probably shouldn't have. But, Ridge knew after he saw her he had to find out about her. Ridge is super sweet, nice and kind with Addy. He will really bend over backwards for her. Addy isn't too sure at first but the more she's around him the more she wants to be with him.
