ARC Book Review: The Student (Tanglewood University #2), by Skye Warren

Book Rating⭐⭐⭐⭐

This Book 2 picks up where book 1 left off you will need to read book 1, The Professor.

Professor William Stratford isn't Anne's professor any longer. He is involved with her assignment and now her mentor for the Tempest Prize, which is awarded to an exceptional student in Shakespearean literature. Anne and the Professor work once a week in the library on her paper. He is guiding her, looking over her work, he is not writing the paper.

Anne hasn't been going to any of the secret society's meetings they keep sending her invitations for. After they nearly killed her roommate she has been keeping her distance from them. Now they sent an invitation and she wants to go and see what is going on, and what they are requesting from her. However, things turn south quickly. Professor Stratford is there to rescue her and take her back to his house. But does this now put him and her at risk as many people saw him claim her and know there is more to them?

Will Anne and The Professor be able to make it through alive? Will the secret society harm them or anyone else?

I did receive a free ARC copy of this book. I am freely leaving an honest review.
