ARC Book Review - Keep Me in Your Heart, (Lancaster Prep Next Generation #2), by Monica Murphy
Rowan just broke his ankle at a football game in two places, so he's in a boot on his foot and hobbling around campus. Rowan's family is very wealthy, more than Arabella's. His family is all loving and caring. He is one of the top people at their school, everyone wants to be near him or close with him. He's never had a 'girlfriend'. He's been around girls who want him, but has never given into any of them.
Arabella (Bella) is from a wealthy family. Her dad is a financial advisor - banker and hardly home. Her mom goes wherever the dad is. Arabella has been in private schools since she was in 5th grade, she would rather be away from her family than with them. They don't care about her, she's just an arm candy for them, something they can show off to her friends. Arabella always dresses a certain way at school. She wants the attention, as she doesn't get it at home, or from anyone. She wants the guys / girls to look at her, and want what she already has.
Arabella goes home with Rowan and his brother for the Thanksgiving break. She sees that his family is actually loving and they want to be around each other. Her family has never been like that.
No mention of what they are doing 'after' they graduate. Like college? Jobs? Internships? Sailing around the world? We don't know.
I did receive a free ARC book copy. I am freely leaving a review.
