ARC Book Review - Stealing Hearts, by Lex Martin

Book Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Rhett Walker, was Danny's best friend growing up, they always had Paige chasing after them when they were young, Rhett and Danny never thought anything of her more than just a little sister. Once Danny passed away he and Paige lost touch, mainly due to Paige not picking up her phone when he called. But, he didn't try hard to keep in touch like he should have. Rhett's ranch is in trouble. He needs a loan from the bank, but, he needs to be married to be considered 'stable' in the eyes of the bank. Who can he marry for a short few months?

Paige just graduated college, and living with her she over hears him telling his friends she isn't wife material, his parents wouldn't except her. She has no other option than to go back to her small hometown to see if she can live with her step mother. She had dreams of being a big time cheer / tumbling coach but, with her newly sprained ankle she can't do that until she's healed. Hopefully going back home she can rest and take it easy for awhile while she heals.

Of course Paige's evil step mother is now running a puppy mill in her house and doesn't have room for her. Paige sets up her car for the night to sleep in it having no where else to go. Once Rhett passes her car on the street he instantly stops and grabs her outta the car. Rhett can't believe she is sleeping in her car. Once they go back to his ranch the talk about a 'deal' hopefully she'll take it.

Rhett knew Paige had a crush on him when they were teenagers. But, she was way to young and now she's 23, a grown woman, he's still older but now he is seeing her in a whole new light.

Will Paige be the answers to his prayers on how to save the ranch and marry him for a few months until he can get the loan and pay it off? Will Paige be able to walk away from him after a few months?
