ARC Book Review - Dear MVP, You're Ice Cold, (Seattle Havoc #2), by Vivian Wood

Book Tropes: grumpy x sunshine, workplace romance, forced proximity, injured hero, protective man, slow burn, he falls first, she’s off-limits

Scout Nash and Silas met 8 years ago when they were both going to the University of Washington. Now they are both on the same NHL team. Scout is a 'team mom', gopher, finder of lost things. What she really wants to do is teach yoga, and be able to help the guys with PT using her kinesiology degree. But, working for the team lets her keep busy during the day and nights also. Juliet wants Scout to write up a mobility plan on how she would be able to help the team with yoga and stretching. This would give Scout a bigger role to play with the Havoc team for sure, something she can be proud of and not something her ex husband can doubt her for.

Silas 'Ice Man' Huxley is on the Seattle Havoc NHL team. His brother, Jet & Hunter are also on the team.  They are known as "Brother's Grimm." We met Hunter Huxley in Book #1 - Dear #47, You're The Worst -  Silas is a massive man, 6'8", always taking up more space than a normal size person. He's always dark and gloomy / grumpy looking. Silas's agent is Enzo Morelli, who is also Scouts ex husband. Silas doesn't like Enzo, personally, but, he has brought him and his brother into a lot of money.

This book had some inconsistencies. One chapter Silas is 6’8”. The next chapter he is 6’5”. Towards the last 1/4 of the book, Scout is looking at her sparkling engagement ring. Then the next chapter is the Coven group talking about going shopping with Silas for a ring.

I did receive a free ARC Copy from Vivian Wood ARC Team. I am freely leaving a honest book review.
