ARC book review - Dance of Ruin (Darkest Dance #2) by Jagger Cole

Nico Barone is in the Bravata, his father being one of the head members. Nico enforces things for the family. Being around his sister, Bianca he knows about ballet, and what all she did to herself for dancing and performing. He's seen Naomi at the company theater before, never interacted with her but he knows who she is. 

Naomi is a prim-and-perfect ballerina, daughter of a politician. Naomi has been a single child to her father for a few years. She shows up at events and knows when to smile and nod for the cameras. Naomi is a ballerina who is working on her next performance of Swan Lake. She is the 2 main leads Odette and Odile and she's over the moon for the upcoming performance. She is working hard to nail her parts. Her best friend, Bianca is injured in an accident. She didn't know what happened, but, now her friend is in the hospital.

Naomi goes to a 'photo' shoot, thinking she will earn some extra money to help with her rent, and food, but, she is drugged and taken advantage of instead. 

Nico isn't sure who hurt his sister, in an attempt to get to their father. Naomi's father is in politics, and has some shady characters in his past. Nico thinks that getting to Naomi will get to him, but, he soon realizes that her father could care less about his daughter. Nico had grabbed Naomi a day after she was drugged and now he is doing things to her. He never lets her explain anything. He just jumps to conclusions. 

Naomi is being used by Nico who is trying to get to her father. But, it's hurting her instead. Being a ballerina she is in costumes that don't cover much and everyone in the ballet company can see her bruises and marks he's leaving on her. 

Will Naomi be able to come clean to Nico about what happened at the photo shoot? Or will he just keep using her like a toy?
