ARC Book Review - Hugo, (Olive Township #2), by Jennifer Millikin

Book Rating: ⭐⭐⭐

Hugo De la Vega lives a quiet life in Olive Township, AZ. He is a fencing Olympian, and leads more of a quiet life now with his friends and family. Hugo's father was murdered a few years ago. There have never been any leads in the case.

Mallory Hawkins is a true crime podcaster. She is trying to work on who possibly killed Hugo's father. Hugo was against working with Mallory at first, but, she is growing on him. Mallory is about 16 weeks pregnant. She still forget to eat/drink/rest when she needs to. Mallory gets wrapped up in case or research, and she just wants to go and research, track down the next lead.
Mallory had a younger sister, who was murdered. The way her younger sister and Hugo's father were murdered are very similar, she thinks they may have the same killer.

Mallory moves into Hugo's ranch/farm as he has a larger property, this way he knows she's safe and he can watch out for her more than her being in town and him living farther away. Each day brings Mallory & Hugo closer together.

I did receive a free ARC book copy of this book.
