ARC Book Review - Heart of Thorns, (Shadow Valley U #2), by S. Massery, & S.J. Sylvis

Book Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Briar Hart was on the girls ice hockey team for the college. But, she was injured a few months ago in a fire and broke her leg when she was trying to escape the burning building. Briar loves painting murals, and is very talented. She is currently working on the football team's mural outside the locker room. Briar knows it was someone from the university who set the building she was in on fire. But, she doesn't know who. The college dean has told her not to say anything publicly about the fire and how a student may be to blame. The police don't believe her of course.

Cassius Thorne, is the football quarterback for the college football team. He is one of the best quarterbacks in the country. He wants to go to the NFL, his billionaire rich parents just want him to find a trophy wife and help run the company. That's not at all what Thorne wants. His parents keep setting him up on dates of those who would be acceptable. Finally he tells them he's dating someone, Briar.

Once Cassius and Briar start 'dating' Briar confides in him that someone is still after her. He believes her and wants to help her. But, will they be able to discover who set the fire and be able to stop them?
