ARC Book Review - Stealing for Keeps, (Frost Lake High #1), by Rebecca Jenshak

Austin Keller, is new to Frost Lake High School this year. His family moved from Arizona up to Michigan so he could be on the soccer team with Coach Collins. His younger sister is horribly upset that she had to move schools in her sophomore year. His little brother is in 3rd grade and likes the change. Austin's parents seem to be working all the time. His dad is always gone on work trips. 

Claire has been competing in figure skating since she was 6 yrs old. She loved skating. She tore her ligaments in her ankle and stopped skating, as she's been in a boot over the summer and at the start of school. Now that she isn't skating any longer, she isn't sure what activity she should do. She doesn't have any other hobbies, skating is all she ever wanted to do and now she can't.  Claire's parents are divorced and she and her younger sister live with their mom. But, the mom is always more interested in the sister's activities - dance and is pushing her more and more with dance. 

Claire dated Vaughn, captain of the soccer team. After Claire was hurt, he ghosted her and broke up with her. He couldn't handle her being injured, he didn't know how to help or take care of her. Now that they have broken up, Claire is seeing the new kid - Austin and Vaughn isn't happy about it at all. Vaughn has the other boys on the soccer team do mean things to him. Telling him practice is at this time, when it actually started an hr earlier. They steal his clothes, stuff from his locker. When Austin tells Vaughn he and Claire are just friends Vaughn calls off the teammates. As long as Claire and Austin are just friends Vaughn is fine with them being around each other, but, are they going to stay just friends?

ARC Book Review - Play the Game (Blue Devils Hockey #1), by S.J. Sylvis

  Book Rating:  Emory Olson is a hockey goalie for the Blue Devil's, a professional hockey team in Chicago. Emory hasn't had the best light in the public's eye. He is just seen as a womanizer - from the press always taking pictures of him with different women, even if nothing happened with them.
