ARC Book Review - Airhead by Avery Flynn

This is a short novella, set in the 1980's a super cute & fun romcon novella.   

Frank Hartigan is a firefighter for Waterbury Fire Department and loves what he is doing. Katie's father is the fire captain that Frank works for. Frank has a twin brother Paul. 

Katie Madigan teaches 3rd grade. She always sees things coming. She has an identical twin Connie who keeps going back and forth with the same guy. Break up, get together, break up, get together. She doesn't want that type of relationship and usually keeps men at arm's length. Katie wants adventure, excitement, and always wants to know what's coming next. She doesn't like living in the small town with her 12 brother's and sisters, and parents. But, she knows she is living her life, and it will take her down which ever path she takes.  

Katie's dad wants her and Frank to work together on planning a retirement for Fitzy. Katie doesn't want to of course, telling her dad that Frank can do all the planning on his own, which of course he says he can put out a fire but he can't party plan, that was Katie's area.  

Will Katie be able to open her mind and heart to let Frank in? He isn't a playboy, he just a good wholesome firefighter looking for love. But will Katie see that?
