ARC Book Review - Into Ruin, by S. Massery

Camden Church is a super hot hockey player, who already has a NHL contract in place. He knows he has what it takes on the ice. He's a awful person to women off the ice. He is best friends with Royal, and didn't realize his step-sister, Harper was a looker, let alone someone who would keep his attention. 

Harper Shay is a freshman at Framingham State University where her brother Royal is a Sophomore and on the hockey team. Her brother's best friend is Camden of course. Both are on the hockey team. Camden already has a NHL Offer / commitment on the table. Harper's roommate and her boyfriend start having s$# in their dorm room, and Harper escapes over to the hockey house, where her brother and Camden live. Harper goes to drop off her stuff into Royal's room and of course turns into Camden's instead. 

Camden wants Harper, even though she's Royal's step-sister. But, he wonders why she is shy and hides herself into her clothes, why does she wear things that are 2 sizes to big for her? Camden learns that Harper had a stalker in high school, and that they guy was a real creep to her. 

Harper runs into her stalker one night at a hockey game, and now he knows what school she is going too. Harper is more skittish than ever. She wants to be with Camden, but, what Camden is doing to her, is what the stalker wants, he wants her to be afraid, he wants to watch.

  Book Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lila Ferrante, grew up with everyone thinking she had the mind of a 5 year old. Her mother told everyone she was simple minded. ARC Book Review - Twisted Pawn (Society of Villains, #2) by L.J. Shen

  Book Rating:    We meet most of the same characters from Book 1, Bad Bishop. I recommend reading book 1, Bad Bishop as the characters, history are explained. Book 2, picks up where Bad Bishop leaves off.      Book Tropes:  Enemies to Lovers, Second Chance, Morally grey hero,  Obsessed , Stalker, Slow Burn.  Tierney Callaghan & Achilles  met when they were teenagers and they were mostly together dating in secret through their high school days. Tierney and  Tiernan Callaghan  are twins. They were taken as babies and raised in a Russian work camp. They both have  trauma   from that experience. Both were raised as killers and can fight with the best of them. Tierney doesn't need the bodyguards Achilles makes guard her, she's her own bodyguard.
