Aleksander (Alek) Suter is originally from Sweeden. He came over to the US when he was a teenager and lived in the Conway house.
Mia Conway and Alek, are the same age, and graduated high school together. Mia always had a crush on Alek growing up. But they could never seem like they were more than roommates / housemates.
After they graduated Mia went to college and Alek was drafted by the NHL right away. They keep in touch every so often.
Mia is now a huge pop music star. But she has just broke up with her boyfriend who thinks he was the greatest thing in her life. Mia and her team come up with an idea to have Mia and Alek be fake boyfriend / girlfriend. This would help his career and hers. Alek is known as the bad boy in the hockey world. Being with the pop princess would help his reputation.
Alek isn’t sure this plan will work. He’s never shared that he has feelings for Mia. But when they are trapped in his condo during a hurricane they share with each other how they feel for one another.
Will Alek be able to walk away from Mia? Will Mia be able to share what’s been her heart for Alek after all this time?
