To Have and To Hold is the fifth and final book in the Brutal Vows series.

Isabella Luciano is 18 yrs old, her father is Carmine Luciano a copa in the Luciano Mafia. Isabella has long golden blonde hair. Her father won't let her go to any university or college to pursue an higher education. Her mother wants Isabella to work with her on all the club meetings, and social engagements, pushing her into the society circle. Isabella's father has painted the Rodriguez cartel in a very bad light, he wants none of his family to trust them. Isabella and her siblings think the worst of the cartel, they have been very sheltered from what their father actually does as a capo. 

Emiliano Ruiz is 30 yrs old. Emiliano is a lieutenant in the Rodriguez cartel. Emiliano wants to show Isabella that the cartel, are men of honor and duty and that she doesn't need to be afraid of him. 

Isabella is told to go out to California to help Mia with the new baby. She doesn't want to go. Emiliano wants Isabella there in California with him, so, he can show her the sites, and that cartel members aren't all bad. But, will Isabella be able to walk and talk with him after her father demands her to stay away from the Rodriguez cartel family?
