Break Your Pucking Heart is the first book in the all-new Ice Lords Series 

Tropes, An Enemies to Lovers, Why-Choose, Hockey, College Romance 

Callan Cromwell is going to college and on the ice hockey team and now part of the Ice Lords. Callan doesn't know which way is up right now. He knows what the other members are doing is wrong. But, at the same time he doesn't want to be on their bad side. He realizes that they are going to do something against Avery, and he knows he has to protect her, but, what will it cost him? 

Avery is best friends with Brogan, who is also step-sister to Callan. They have known each other since mid-school. Avery & Callan had a night together back in High School. She didn't know at the time that Callan had a crush on her. Avery is on the college archery team. She loves it and is very good. Avery & Brogan are roommates, but, Brogan is usually spending the night at her boyfriends place and hardly ever in their dorm.  

Avery & Brogan are at a hockey game early in the season, so, Brogan can watch her boyfriend   play hockey against her brother's school team.  After Avery & Brogan get separated at the end of the game, Avery goes searching for her and makes a wrong turn, and winds up in the opposing team's changing rooms. She recognizes Callan's voice but the others that are talking she can't place. But, they soon realize she's in the room. Avery finds herself face to fave with the  Ice Lords - Callan, Sebastian, and Aidric. What will they do to punish her? What will they do to make her keep quite of what she just heard? 

This book did remind me of a few other books. Not sure if it was the ice hockey secret society hockey house part or the dark romance part?
