ARC Book Review - Empty Net (Seattle Serpents, #4) by Teagan Hunter
Book Rating:
Lilah Maddison came from old money. Her parents want her to date a certain type of man, wealthy. Lilah has been set up so many times by her mother it is crazy. Liliah's mother wants her to date a man who comes from old money also who has a family that will match their own family's money / wealth and power is what she is after. Lilah is constantly on the phone with her mother trying to please her. Lilah knows she can't of course.
Arthur Fox is the hockey goalie for the Seattle Serpents. He is a great goalie, but, has been stressed out lately, which makes him worried during games, and slip up with missed pucks going into the goal. Fox is from the south, and loves to help people when they need it. Fox over hears Lilah on the phone with her mother stating she has a boyfriend and will bring him to the next even they have planned out. Arthur steps in and states he will help her and be her fake boyfriend.
Lilah hates to admit it but she's had a crush on Fox for a year or so now ever since they were introduced by their friends. Fox wants to admit that he's had feelings for Lilah but he never has 'talked' with her let alone danced with her or been alone with her. They area always surrounded by friends and hockey players.
Once they are fake dating, they have a hard time figuring out what part is fake and what part is real. They both want to be in the relationship together with each other.
I did receive a free ARC book copy of this book. I am freely leaving an honest review.
