This story does do time hops, from 5 yrs ago to present, and then from 5 months ago to present. 

Maddox Beneventi has a huge Italian family, & mob connections. He is trying to open a new restaurant that has been his dream, his baby. Five months ago, one late night driving back home, he runs into a car that just got into an accident with a deer / telephone pole. When he looks who the driver is, it's his dream girl, Princess Lennon. He hasn't seen her in awhile, since London. Now, she is stuck in the middle of now where and needs help. He doesn't take her to her friends place they go back to his.  Maddox knows she usually has to travel with her security detail, and she has no one with her. He knows he can protect her at his place. 

Princess Lennon Windsor, has always been a ballet dancer, but also a princess. Her father has had her in an arranged marriage since she was a baby. Now that she's almost 25 her wedding date is approaching, but the groom to be is a horrible person. Her brothers cannot stand him, let alone Lennon.  Telling her father she doesn't want to marry won't do any good. She decided to run away back to America to spend some time with her friend, and maybe to see Maddox again. She isn't sure if he's moved on with anyone else recently, all she can do is hope and pray he's still single, and still wants her. 

When Lennon and Maddox come up with a plan to marry neither are sure what will happen. If the royal crown will hear of the news and have the plans interrupted last minute or if they will be able to marry and avoid the crown.
