ARC Book Review - Spotlight (Holland Brothers #4), by Rebecca Jenshak

Book Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Flynn Holland, (aka Baby Holland), is now Lake City’s new hotshot pitcher. Flynn has been playing baseball for a big baseball team back east, but, was recently traded to Lake City. Flynn thinks it's a down grade, since this team hasn't won anything in the past 50 years. But he is happy to be around his brothers and family again. Flynn loves pitching, but, seems to get in and out of his grove every few games. If he's brothers are in the stands he has a great game, but, if they aren't he usually doesn't do that well.

Olivia works at one of the book stores in Lake City. The other is their rival she says all the time. She also works as a bartender/waitress at a local club. She also has a 6 yr old daughter, Greer. To say she's always busy is an understatement.

Olivia and Flynn met when she was out of town on a trip, and they did wind back at Flynn's hotel room they didn't do anything except talk and fall asleep. But, when Olivia sees Flynn in her small town she's unsure what will happen. Flynn wanted her after that weekend they had together, but, never got her name or number. Flynn was instantly smitten with Olivia. When Flynn meets her daughter, Greer, he knows he's done for. He wants to be around 'his' girls all the time.

Olivia doesn't want to get too attached, as she knows baseball players can be traded on a whim and she doesn't want her and her daughters heart to be broken if he leaves at the end of the season. But, Olivia wants to love again and wants someone to care for her. Flynn is 3 yrs or so younger than Olivia but, as Flynn was raised by his 4 older brothers he is use to being with the older group and can connect really well with Olivia.

I did receive a free ARC Copy of this book. I am freely leaving an honest review.
