Book Review - The Pucking Wrong Number (Pucking Wrong #1), by C.R. Jane

Book Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lincoln Daniels is on the Dallas NHL Hockey team. Ice Hockey is the one thing he's always wanted to do, and he loves the team and teammates on his team. He is a billionaire's son. He's always known wealth. His father and mother hate his hockey career and want him to quit and join his father's business. He doesn't have a clue how people 'live' in bad conditions. He went to private prep school, where he met his best friend Ari. The two are on the Dallas team together. They love harassing each other and giving each other good vibes and bad.

Monroe, has had a hard life. Her mom lived to please men in the bedroom and then she died, leaving Monroe to the foster system. She had some good homes and some bad. She was living in a home in the Houston area where the 'dad' was becoming to friendly to her, she knew she had to escape him and the family that treated her like Harry Potter, just doing chores and cooking for them. Monroe makes her way up to Dallas, and starts a new life at 18yrs old. She gets into the community college and works 2 jobs. She's a hard worker, but, she always wants a break, why is life not fair to everyone?

One night Monroe gets a random text message, and she and the other person begin texting. Lincoln thinks he's texting someone else, but, it's Monroe, who doesn't have a clue who Lincoln is. Lincoln and Monroe finally met in person, and its a instant connection for them both. Lincoln starts stalking and preying on Monroe. I didn't like things he did. I would say that's drawing a line, what you can handle. Monroe is innocent and shy, she doesn't think what he's doing is right, but, she also wants to please him.
