ARC Book Review: Final Down (Waiting: Next Generation #3), by Ginger Scott
Book Rating:
This is the 3rd book in the series. You do need to read the books in the series. Each pick up where the previous leaves off.
Peyton, has re-learned how to walk, and ride her horse. She is almost back to normal after her spinal injury. She still gets cramping sometimes but it able to make the cramps stop. Peyton isn't sure what she wants to do with her life. She wants to help the cheer team at her old high school the same one her dad coaches at. She knows coaching the cheer team isn't the same as being on the cheer team, like when she was doing it. She wants to be helpful in her community and have meaning in her life.
Wyatt Stone, is an assistant football coach at the high school, helping his father in law, Reed. Until he gets a invite for a try out for a NFL team up in Oregon. Once Wyatt and his friend Whiskey have their try out, he receive news that they want him for 1 yr. Peyton and him agree they can do it for 1 yr. Wyatt will live in Oregon a short distance from the stadium, while Peyton lives on the ranch with her family. Peyton goes to most of the away games, and even most of the home games while he is playing and she is coaching.
Wyatt has always missed football ever since he left after high college days to help Peyton recover. Now that he's an adult and working mainly with the kids and football he still loves the trill of being out on the field with a team.
Will Wyatt and Peyton be able to continue the traveling for football? Will Peyton be ok to travel with her past injury? Will the NFL team keep Wyatt or will they drop him for the new younger quarterback?
I did receive a free ARC Book Copy. I am freely leaving an honest book review.
