ARC Book Review - Not A Fake Chance, (Second Chance) by Willa Drew

Book Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Alek Orlov, his parents are Russian, and immigrated to America to give Alek a successful future. Alek was on the UCLA Ice hockey team but, he wanted to graduate a semester early so, he left the team, and threw himself into his studies. His father is a handy man, maintance man with the Haliday Hotel group. Alek has worked with him many summers and winter breaks with him at the Haliday Hotels. Alek and Rose run into each other at the hotel a year or so before they were in the same class together.

Rose Haliday grew up a hotel heiress. Her mother has built a Haliday Hotel group with a ton of hotels. Rose is supposed to take over when her mom retires, but, she wants to do events, not run the hotel empire. Rose is a very driven individual, she wants to go after her dream of having a successful company that her mom is proud of her for. But, will her mom be there to support her when she craves that support?

When Alek, and Rose were seniors at UCLA they were paird together to work a project to creat a product / company for that semester. They became close,  and even spending time with each other when they weren't working on the project.

This book does go back and forth on the timeline, back 12 yrs when they first met, and today. It is a longer book. Does have a lot of back and forth, does he love me does he not, does she love me, does she not.

I did receive a free ARC Copy of this book. I am leaving a honest review.
