ARC Book Review - The Situation (Brewer Family #5), by Adriana Locke

Aurora, she has just gotten divorced. She’s not looking for a new boyfriend or anything serious. She isn’t even looking for a one night stand. But when Tate sits next to her on the plane she can’t help but think of how young he is but how it is nice to have someone put her first for a change. How he makes her feel special with just a few exchanges between them. 

Tate, is the youngest Brewer. He has a business degree but hates working at the company his father created. He loves the businesses just hates that they are under what his father created. Tate’s best friend Carys is married to his older brother Gannon. He knows her father and step mother just broke up and got divorced but that’s about all he knows that happened between her father and d step mother. 

Tate and Aurora meet on a flight one weekend. They have a flirty banter back and forth throughout the flight. They know they are going to the same conference. Aurora tells Tate the hotel restaurant’s name and knows she wants to go there. He waits in the lobby for her to come down and asks her to join him. If Tate didn’t know the owner he may not have been able to have an open reservation for the whole night. If Tate wasn’t a Brewer he may not have been able to do an open reservation either. 

When they get back to Nashville will Tate be able to find Aurora? Will Aurora be open to having a relationship with him? Or will she shut him down again?

ARC Book Review - Bad Bishop, (Society of Villains #1), LJ Shen

  Book Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lila Ferrante, grew up with everyone thinking she had the mind of a 5 year old. Her mother told everyone she was simple minded. ARC Book Review - Twisted Pawn (Society of Villains, #2) by L.J. Shen

  Book Rating:    We meet most of the same characters from Book 1, Bad Bishop. I recommend reading book 1, Bad Bishop as the characters, history are explained. Book 2, picks up where Bad Bishop leaves off.      Book Tropes:  Enemies to Lovers, Second Chance, Morally grey hero,  Obsessed , Stalker, Slow Burn.  Tierney Callaghan & Achilles  met when they were teenagers and they were mostly together dating in secret through their high school days. Tierney and  Tiernan Callaghan  are twins. They were taken as babies and raised in a Russian work camp. They both have  trauma   from that experience. Both were raised as killers and can fight with the best of them. Tierney doesn't need the bodyguards Achilles makes guard her, she's her own bodyguard.
