ARC Book Review - Lead Me Knot (Peachtree Pass, #2) by S.L. Scott

Book Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is book #2 in the series. You can read as a standalone. You can read the books in the series.

Baylor is Christina's brother, who is married to Tagger-Baylor's best friend. Christina and Lauralee are also best friends and were thick as thieves from school age on. Tagger left NYC and moved back to Texas to marry Christina and live on the ranch. Baylor still lives in NYC and comes back to Texas when he takes a long weekend away from work. When Christina and Tagger got married Baylor noticed Lauralee wasn't a little girl any more. She's an adult, with curves he wants to find out where

Lauralee owns the bakery in the small town. Lauralee has always had a crush on Baylor, even though he's a little older and Christina's brother. Lauralee loves her small Texas town and never saw herself leaving the bakery store her mom created years ago. Lauralee is very involved in the small town, and is also often joined by Christina.

Baylor's company is having a really big 4th of July celebration in the Hamptons.  He asks Lauralee to come up to NYC for a few days to celebrate with him. He also needs a girlfriend, as his work place has implied that 'single' men don't always succeed at the company. He needs to appear that he is in a relationship. He and Lauralee are seeing each other when he comes back home, but, it's on the down low, no one knows that they are together.

Baylor and Lauralee have a lot of miscommunication going on. Baylor has the right intentions, but, how he does things isn't always the best way. He is doing the right thing, but, the path he takes isn't always the best path. He doesn't tell Lauralee what he is doing until its already done. He goes about things the wrong way.

I did receive a free ARC Book Copy of this book. I am freely leaving an honest book review.
