Book Review - Playing Dane (Florida East University #1), by Hannah Gray
Book Rating:

Dane Wade is a quarterback for a college football at Florida East University in Florida. His twin brother also a quarterback at a rival school. They have always been going against each other in everything they have done growing up. They are both super competitive.
Layla is on a college swim team. Weston is the quarterback for the college football team at that same school. Layla's roommate is Henley who also grew up with Dane and Weston. She's always had a thing for Dane, but, has always been best friends with both the brothers. Layla had a very rough childhood. Now as a college student she doesn't trust that many people with her personal information, let alone her past. Layla is quiet cynical and doesn't believe in happily ever after, even for herself.
When Layla and Dane meet one Thanksgiving, they are both drawn to each other. They agree to meet up once a month, keep things casual between them, unless they start dating someone else and fall for that other person. Layla begins to fall for Dane but she doesn't want her head or her heart to open up and let someone in. Dane fell for Layla during the first outing they had - sky diving and he knew right then she was meant to be his. But, he had to prove that to Layla.
Will Layla open up her heart? Will she let Dane in? Will she let herself have a happy ever after?
I am freely leaving an honest review.
