ARC Book Review - Summer Shot: Wyverns Hockey Book Two by A.C. Wonderland

Book Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is book #2 in the series. This picks up where book #1 left off.

From the last day of classes through the summer Lauren (Laur) Bellinger and her hockey boyfriend Lucas Donato have become closer with each other. The Wyverns hockey team didn't win the final four hockey games, but, the team played the best they've ever played together.

The hockey team is looking forward to take a month off but not Lucas. He's always wanting to be on the ice, making sure he is the best. He wants to always improve his hockey game. He's not looking forward to taking a 'break' but he knows his body needs one.

With the marketing team / PA team member graduating Lauren needs to get some new applications and new members on the marketing team. Lauren and the team are taking resumes and sifting through those who would be good candidates to interview. Lauren and team think they have settled on the top ones they believe would be great hires / additions to the team.

The book goes until about the 1st week of school. Where we find out who the new members of the team are, and who the new hockey teammates are. Someone is egging and forking the house Lauren lives in. They aren't sure if it's because Lauren is dating Lucas, or if it was someone who wasn't selected for the new marketing team. Who would want to go after Lauren and the girls in the house?

I did receive a free ARC Copy of this book. I am freely leaving an honest book review.
