ARC Book Review - Valentine Nook (The Valentine Nook Chronicles #1), by Lulu Moore
Book Rating:

Lando Burlington, the eleventh duke of Oxfordshire, is back on the market as England’s most eligible bachelor. He was engaged 6 months ago, but, things ended on the eve of the wedding.
Now Lando basically works full time, no fun, no going out, just work, and being a grump. Lando's mom has been trying to get him to date other women, but, he just wants to be left alone in his misery. The estate the family lives in has been apart of their family for the past 500 years. Lando and his brothers work to take care of the family business and to take care of the family estate.
Lando's sister, Clementine "Clemmie" is home for the summer and wants to spend all her time sun bathing by the pool. Clemmie and Holiday become fast friends. Clemmie wants nothing to do really with the business side, she just wants to go to school and be with her friends.
Holiday Simpson is an America on holiday in England. Her assistant booked the cottage for her for the summer. 'Holi' is a film actress and an American sweetheart. She works and works on movies and is a box-office favorite. She doesn't want to recognized or to be treated differently. She is just looking for a break from acting for awhile. The cottage she is renting is owned by Lando's family.
I did receive a free ARC Copy of this book. I am freely leaving an honest book review.
