Book Review - War and his Queen (Carpe Noctem Series), by Amo Jones

The Elite Kings Club (EKC) has founding families. Halen has always been considered the princess of the group. Daughter of the notorious Bishop Hayes. And she is a daddy's girl through and through. She doesn't seem as rash as her brother, Priest. She actually has a sole compared to him. She is an excellent driver, and the other kids in the groups named one of the race tracks after her. Halen and War have always had a hate / hate type relationship. They would do things just to egg the other person on.  

War has a push / pull relationship with Halen. He wants to be her bully. He wants to kill. He wants to toture people. He gets off on it. He has feelings for Halen, he always wants to be with her, mainly to protect her. He doesn't think she can do it herself. 

A lot of drug use and alcohol use. There is a lot going on in this book. One page they are doing murders here by their house. And then they are off at another island looking for the Baker boys. Its just random. There was a baby on one page, and then nothing ever mentioned again about the baby. Whose baby was it??

A lot of trigger's in this book. They are all listed towards the back of the book.

  Book Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lila Ferrante, grew up with everyone thinking she had the mind of a 5 year old. Her mother told everyone she was simple minded. ARC Book Review - Twisted Pawn (Society of Villains, #2) by L.J. Shen

  Book Rating:    We meet most of the same characters from Book 1, Bad Bishop. I recommend reading book 1, Bad Bishop as the characters, history are explained. Book 2, picks up where Bad Bishop leaves off.      Book Tropes:  Enemies to Lovers, Second Chance, Morally grey hero,  Obsessed , Stalker, Slow Burn.  Tierney Callaghan & Achilles  met when they were teenagers and they were mostly together dating in secret through their high school days. Tierney and  Tiernan Callaghan  are twins. They were taken as babies and raised in a Russian work camp. They both have  trauma   from that experience.
