ARC Book Review - My Brother’s Enemy, by Tijan

Book Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tyler Griffin has always been all about hockey since he was a small boy. He has a twin sister Skye who has a daughter - Zoey. Tyler and Skye are super close only having each other to rely on. Tyler knows something is terribly wrong and asks to be traded to his home town hockey team as soon as possible. Tyler wants to be on winning hockey teams and he knows asking for a trade is going to hurt his career but he needs to be by Skye and Zoey.

Rain grew up in the town next to Tyler’s. Her older brothers always played against him in all the hockey leagues. They have always been rivals. When Tyler sees her for the first time, he knows there is something familiar about her but he can’t place what it is. Rain is a Sports Psychologist and has been hired by the Minnesota hockey team to help the players become better players on the ice. She is to help unlock their mental blocks.

Rain tells Tyler who she really is and Tyler can’t believe it. He walks away from her and ignores her at the hockey rink. All the guys see they aren’t talking and how Tyler is blowing her off.

Will Tyler be able to come back around to Rain? Will Rain’s past ruin their friendship and future?

This book does have a few triggers, Self doubt, loneliness, depression, verbal abuse, family ignoring other family members.

I did receive a free ARC book copy. I am freely leaving a honest book review.
