ARC Book Review - Walking in Darkness (Darkness #2), by A.L. Jackson

*Walking in Darkness is book two in the Darkness Duet. Please read the first book, Visions of Darkness, before enjoying this one.

This book picks up right where we left off with Aria and Pax fighting for their survival and to better understand the threat they face, a threat to not only themselves but also everyone they love. As Pax & Aria begin to unfold the truth about their people, Lavens, they discover the fight is just beginning. 

Aria and Pax start realizing that the people they have been fighting with in Laven are disappearing. That means in the real world, they are dying. How can they find everyone in the real human world, before the darkness finds everyone? 

Ambrose is he controlling the Kruen during the day? Ambrose was able to pull Aria into a different realm, but how? 

Aria has a vision that Dani is in trouble. She needs to get to Dani who is in Portland, OR. Dani helped Aria navigate the realms when she was younger, like her mentor. Aria knows she needs to go an be with Dani so, Ambrose won't get to her. After Aria and Pax arrive at Dani's someone is sneaking around the backyard, and realize it's Timothy who is connected to Dani in the Faydor realm and they all know he is to be with them.
