Ramsey Stewart & Nora Stewart moved into the house next to Thea's when Ramsey was 11 yrs old. They met when Ramsey jumped out of a tree causing Thea to fall and break her leg, on the same day her mom died. Ramsey's little sister Nora was always tagging along wit him when he went out of the house. Their dad is a drunk and not a very nice alcoholic. Their dad is always blaming the kids that is their fault that the mom left them. Ramsey isn't sure what to believe other than the mom went out one day and never came back. 

Thea hated that Ramsey hurt her on the day her mom died. Didn't he know she was already suffering? No, he couldn't know, they were new to the area. Ramsey and Thea are in the same grade/class. It makes is easier for Ramsey to help her  or try to help her. Thea doesn't like that Ramsey is being nice to her after he broke her leg. She just wants to be left alone. But, Ramsey knows that Thea is meant for him. He wants to be nice to her, he wants to help her. He wants her. Can you meet your soul mate at 10 yrs old? Can you love someone so much that it shows everyday?

When Ramsey goes to jail he doesn't want anything to do with Thea any longer. He wants her out of his life. But, his sister, Nora and Thea are best friends are roommates. They get along better than she and he did. Now that he has been locked up and released back out into the real world, will he be able to get back with Thea? Or will him being away for so long be hard for both of them to go back to what they had in high school? 

Will Thea still love him as much as she once did? Will Ramsey be able to open his heart back up to Thea?
