ARC Book Review - Sweet Addiction (Love & Legacy #2) by Bella Matthews

Book Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Beneventi & Ryan families have known each other forever. They all grew up with each other. One of the aunts married one of the uncles ages ago. So, they are kinda cousins.

Rome Beneventi, is a 6'5" heavyweight MMA fighter who trains at Crucible gym. He's always been the 'bad' boy in the friend group. He is training for a big fight that can really boost his career if he wins in a few months, but, he really needs to focus on training.

Dillan Ryan has a dream of writing books and owning a book store. Her mother is a successful book author. Her father was very famous a NFL quarterback. Her sister and brother are profession singers and her younger brother is working on his NFL career. Now, she feels like she isn't successful at all. Dillan always feels like she is being compared to the others in her family. Dillan is very insecure, she listens to the troll monsters online who always say how she isn't pretty and comparing her to her successful sister. Dillan starts writing a book but, under a 'pen' name so no one will know it was her who wrote it. The one person who knows it is her is Rome. Will Rome out her?

Rome knows Dillan wrote a book, and he blackmails her into living with him and being his pretend girlfriend. Once Dillan is living with Rome he tries and tries to show her how much he likes her. But, Dillan has so many walls up, he isn't sure he can actual reach through her coldness that she's built up.

Dillan isn't sure what she is doing with Rome, but, she is trying to block him out and block her feelings towards him, but, she's finally melting around him, and is finally giving in. Will Dillan be able to let her family know that she is a book author? Will Dillan be able to open up to Rome? Will Rome be able to show that he's liked Dillan for years now? Rome really helps Dillan with her self esteem. He sees the real her. He helps her realizes that she is worthy of love and compassion.

I did receive a free ARC book copy. I am freely leaving an honest book review.
