ARC Book Review - We Are Yours, M. Robinson
Book Rating:

Isla is on the run from an abusive foster home when she runs into Julius and Kraven playing the piano and violin in a subway. Isla is covered in blood, but has passed out. The brothers, Julius and Kraven aren't sure what to do with her, but, they take her home and let her rest. The first 6 months with the brother's Isla doesn't talk. She just nods and communicates via text messages. But, finally Kraven breaks her and she starts to talk. Julius thought she would talk with him first as they seem to be friends. But maybe that's Julius's problem, she sees him more as a friend.
Julius is the older brother. He dropped out of school so he could work full time and support his brother Kraven. The brother's parents have been missing for a few years. The mom and dad brother went away stating they would be back, but have never come back into their lives. They keep going along day by day doing what they know how to do. Their parents were both addicts and alcoholics.
Kraven and Isla are the same age. They start going to school together. Isla tutors Kraven even though he knows what the answer is before she does. Kraven has more of a bad boy / dangerous vibe to him. He's always getting into fights and trouble.
I did receive a free ARC copy of this book. I am freely leaving a honest book review.
