Abella Moretti is a mafia princess, and has always known what was expected of her. Her existence centered around two purposes. One was decorative, and the other, transactional. A woman's value always came down to what she could be traded for. Abella and Angela where always promised to each other ages ago but now with his jail sentence, she is gets his twin brother Matteo as a fiance instead. 

Angelo Vitale (Il Diavolo), was always destined to be with the Cosa Nostra. He was fated to reign as one of the most powerful men in Seattle. Angela goes to jail for 6 years for taking the fall for something he didn't do. Now that he's out he finds out that his twin brother Matteo is now engaged to his fiancee Abella. Now that he is out of prison, will he become the head of his family in the Cosa Nostra after his father dies? 

Three families, Stavros, Moretti, and Vitale, all live on a 120 acre Black Stag Island, off of Washington State coast. It was divided equally amoung the families when they first bought the island. In the past few years it seems that the families are all going to war against each other, then once bonded families are now at war with each other.

  Book Rating:    This is book #2 in the series. You can read book #2 without reading #1 Truly Madly Deeply.  The characters are all explained, who belongs to who. Dylan Casablancas has liked Rhyland ever since they were teenagers. But, with her brother being his best friend she knows she will never be able to date him. ARC Book Review - Heart of Frost and Scars, (Frozen Fate #3), by Pam Godwin

  Book Rating:  This is the 3rd book in the series, the conclusion of the series. You do need to read the other 2 books prior, as this continues where book 2 left off. We have Leonid, Kody, Frankie and Monty. Monty has opened his home / island to Leonid, Kody & Frankie to live in and recover. The three take the guest house next to the main house Monty is in.  Frankie starts getting text messages and phone calls from a blocked / restricted number. No one is sure who is sending them. Other than she is being watched and the person at the other end knows what everyone in the house is doing. Frankie now has a stalker.  Leonid and Kody seem to be adapting well to living in Sitka and the area.
