ARC Book Review - Easy Tiger (The Boys of Sweetwater Springs #1), by Ginger Scott

Book Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hunter is a young baseball player who just graduated college. He is starting out with the Triple A team in Sweetwater Springs. He sets his sights on Renleigh. He notices she never gives ball players a second glance. Hunter is hoping he will be able to open her heart. Hunter is full of himself, he always thinks he is the best out on the field, but for a pitcher you need to be that way.

Sweetwater Springs is home to a triple A baseball ball team. A lot of ball players come through town for 1 season or for many seasons. You never know when you may get called up to the big leagues. Renleigh has never given any of the ball players a second glance as she knows there small town is just a stopping point and no one will last long.

Renleigh has been in Sweetwater Springs her whole life. Her father was a college baseball coach for most of her life. Her parents divorced when she and her sister were teenagers. Renleigh has been bitter with her mother not being in her life most of her life. Her father, just had another stroke and has taken longer to come out of it and to get his life back on track. Renleigh left college with just 15 credits remaining to finish her degree so she could take care of her father. She works as a bartender at a local bar in town.

Renleigh thinks she needs to take care of her dad and her sister. She isn’t sure what to do with her mom being back in their lives. But she wants to keep all guards up around her. Renleigh doesn’t realize everyone can take care of themselves and she doesn’t need to worry as much. Will Renleigh be able to open her heart to Hunter? Will Hunter be able to steal her away from Sweetwater Springs?

I did receive a free ARC copy of this book. I am freely leaving a honest book review.
