We do have dueling points of view with Daisy and Cash. And dueling flashbacks from their teenage years.
Daisy Adair and her sister Hadley, were in the foster care system while they were growing up. They were placed with a woman who lived a few houses down from Cash and his family when they were teenagers. Daisy and Cash were fast friends, at the time. Daisy found herself in a pickle. Her husband has been laundering money it looks like and she wants to get her and their 3 kids to safety. Daisy had found the area she thought Cash was located in. So, she sets her sights on traveling to where he is and hopes he can keep her and the kids safe.
Cash Cunningham has been with his friends who founded Sovereign Sanctum a rescue operation that helps women and kids escape from spouses who are abusing them. Cash is a recluse, he lives up on some property outside of Moonlit Ridge away from the town. Cash is the quiet brooding type. He wants to do his computer work, hacking and planning escapes for those they help rescue. In high school Cash was the quarterback on the football team, and very outgoing. He's turned a complete 180 now as an adult.
Now that Daisy and her kids are living with Cash at his house, will he and his crew be able to keep them safe from her ex husband who is looking for them? Will those who Cash hurt before come looking for him?
