Tropes: Enemies-to-Lovers, Family Saga, Forbidden, Forced Proximity, Found Family, Rival Families, Secret Relationship.
Rome Pierce is Formula One’s golden boy and he also drives for the rival team, his father's team. Rome has recently left his father's team. He doesn't want to be on the cheating side any longer. He and his father had a horrible relationship in the racing world. Rome went to Mr. Vanstone to see about racing for him, which he was open to and accepted Rome to come race on his team. Rome is a fantastic driver, he doesn't need someone calling the shots for him through the headphones, but, when they come from Tessa he wants to listen, her voice calms him. He looks forward to hearing her during the races.
Tessa Vanstone is the Princess of Vanstone Racing. She is a racing engineer. Now that her father has stepped down from the Helm he wants Tessa to take over, her 3 brother's are involved with the team also. Now that Rome is on her team, she isn't sure how to feel about him being around. They've always had a difficult relationship.
Rome and Tessa start getting friendly with each other off the race circuit. They want to be around each other. They like being with each other. Rome always wants to find his center before a race, and with Tessa he finds his center in her and being around her.
