Isla use to be a club girl with the Iron Outlaws, but, for the past four months, she's been living on her own, holding down a regular job. She wanted out of the club life, and now she's on her own. She would rather do everything herself, but, she finds she does need help. Isla's grandmother passed away and she left the house to Isla in her will. Her uncle and his son keep harassing her about the house and how she doesn't have rights to it. Isla is now very afraid of those in leather cuts, and bikes. She doesn't want to throw her body around, she doesn't want to be used any more. Now, her new neighbors, Shade and Jackal have been watching out for her across the street. Isla just needs to figure out that she can trust the two men and they aren't looking for anything in return other than hospitality and kindness.

Shade (Garrett) & Jackal (Kai) have been "Nomad enforcers" for the Iron Outlaws for a few years. Garrett is prior military and has his own past demons to slay - usually at night when he isn't sleeping. They have been in a relationship as long as they have known each other. Now they want to settle down in  Colorado, where the Iron Outlaws clubhouse is. They have just purchased a house, and a looking at renovating it and filling it with the antique furniture finds. The men in the Iron Outlaws don't seem to suspect that Shade and Jackal are actually a couple. They just know that they were both in the military and have always been living / working together since they've been patched in members.

Shade and Jackal have both wondered what it might be like to bring someone else into their private relationship. Would Isla be that missing person they've both been thinking about? Or will that scare off Isla even more from them?

I did receive a free ARC Book Copy of this book. I am freely leaving a honest book review.
