Shane McCabe is 41 yrs old and is the head coach of the NHL Tampa Bay Osprey's. Shane always remembers the girl who he let get away, Ari from college. He can't ever seem to move on from her. But, now, she back in his world, as the wife of the General Manager of the Tampa Bay Osprey's. How is he going to get through this season with his ex being around?

Ariana (Ari) Ridley wanted to become a social worker. That is what her college degree is in. Help those who needed help. But, it seems she's the one who needs help now. She was raising & taking care of her younger brother, Georgie. She met her now husband, Nathan and she  thought the world of him. He treated both her and her brother Georgie very well. Once they were married Georgie was able to have things that her limited salary could never afford them. Nathan has gotten the General Manager position of the Tampa Bay Osprey's Hockey Team. Nathan is very controlling of Ariana. Always wanting to know where she is going & who she is with. 

When Ariana sees Shane he knows that her masked face of smiles and warmness is a fake. Shane sees right through her. Will Ariana open up to Shane and tell him about her husband? Will Shane and Ariana be able to speak alone together, or will Nathan see that they are sneaking behind is back? 

Shane sees through Nathan. Shane knows he is up to something but what he can't figure it out. Shane can see his players not giving 110% each game. He can tell who was dodging the play. But, why? What is Nathan doing to his players and staff? Something is going on. Will Ariana be able to help Shane uncover what is going on right under their noses?

  Book Rating:    This is book #2 in the series. You can read book #2 without reading #1 Truly Madly Deeply.  The characters are all explained, who belongs to who. ARC Book Review - Heart of Frost and Scars, (Frozen Fate #3), by Pam Godwin

  Book Rating:  This is the 3rd book in the series, the conclusion of the series. You do need to read the other 2 books prior, as this continues where book 2 left off. We have Leonid, Kody, Frankie and Monty. Monty has opened his home / island to Leonid, Kody & Frankie to live in and recover. The three take the guest house next to the main house Monty is in.  Frankie starts getting text messages and phone calls from a blocked / restricted number. No one is sure who is sending them. Other than she is being watched and the person at the other end knows what everyone in the house is doing. Frankie now has a stalker.  Leonid and Kody seem to be adapting well to living in Sitka and the area.
