This is book #3 in the Blossom Peak series. You can read each as a standalone as the characters are explained as who is who. 

Rhonan Hart is the single dad next door to where Vienna just moved in, in Blossom Peak. His daughter Ellis and a student of Vienna's.  Rhonan is Lainey's older brother and best friends with her   fiancée   - Fletcher. Rhonan is a Deputy Sheriff, he loves helping others and protecting his small town he's always been a part of.   

Vienna is a new substitute teacher, filling in for the regular Kindergarten teacher who is out on maternity leave. Vienna has a degree in early childhood education but never was able to put it to use before. Vienna has secrets she isn't ready to open up and share her story. She seems to be a bit of a mystery cloud. Vienna rents a house right next to Rhonan. They have a bit of a hate / hate relationship at the beginning. But after a month or so they seem to have bent up frustration that almost explodes until Rhonan kisses her. 

Vienna is a mystery. She doesn't open up / share much about her past. She seems skiddish to those around her. Rhonan isn't sure what it is but she seems to be afraid. Will Vienna open up to Rhonan about her past? Will having a Sherriff's Deputy living next door be a blessing for Vienna or a curse with seeing him all the time?

ARC Book Review - Heart of Frost and Scars, (Frozen Fate #3), by Pam Godwin

  Book Rating:  This is the 3rd book in the series, the conclusion of the series. You do need to read the other 2 books prior, as this continues where book 2 left off. We have Leonid, Kody, Frankie and Monty. Monty has opened his home / island to Leonid, Kody & Frankie to live in and recover. The three take the guest house next to the main house Monty is in.  Frankie starts getting text messages and phone calls from a blocked / restricted number. No one is sure who is sending them. Other than she is being watched and the person at the other end knows what everyone in the house is doing. Frankie now has a stalker.  Leonid and Kody seem to be adapting well to living in Sitka and the area.
