Luna Jackson, has always been told what to do her whole life. Her parents own the largest fashion houses in New York, and they have always told her what to do. Study, business in college, so she can one day be the CEO of the company. Be the online fashion influencer, for brands with clothing, makeup, travel, be the pretty face and the hot body to sell their products. Her best friend Violet was moving out to Arizona to take over her sick uncles catering company. Luna went with her to get away from her family and her obligations her parents were putting her in. This is the first time she's out on her own. She doesn't want to be the face of the fashion house any more. She wants to become a photographer an artist. But, will her parents let her walk away from the brands? From the deals and the money she brings in? 

Hunter has lived in the same small town his whole life. He owns and runs a 150,000 acres ranch with his brothers. They are heavily invested in the small town and in the ranch they own. Hunter has a 6 yr old son, who is his whole world. He gave up on love when the mother of his son walked out on both of them. When he sees Luna across the bar one night, he knows one look of her won't be enough. He needs her, he wants her. Will he be able to keep her? Hunter isn't just a owner of a large cattle ranch. He is also in bed with the mafia. But, the Greek Mafia is after him to work for them. Hunter wants protection but at what cost?

Luna has a lot of baggage from her New York life. She wants to settle in the small town with Hunter and his family. But, will her family back east let her go? Will she be able to live the life she wants? Will they be able to let her go?

ARC Book Review - Heart of Frost and Scars, (Frozen Fate #3), by Pam Godwin

  Book Rating:  This is the 3rd book in the series, the conclusion of the series. You do need to read the other 2 books prior, as this continues where book 2 left off. We have Leonid, Kody, Frankie and Monty. Monty has opened his home / island to Leonid, Kody & Frankie to live in and recover. The three take the guest house next to the main house Monty is in.  Frankie starts getting text messages and phone calls from a blocked / restricted number. No one is sure who is sending them. Other than she is being watched and the person at the other end knows what everyone in the house is doing. Frankie now has a stalker.  Leonid and Kody seem to be adapting well to living in Sitka and the area.
