ARC Book Review - Knocked Up By Number 90 (Grizzlies Hockey #3), by Elise Faber

Book Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Book Trope: second chance romance, hockey romance, sports romance, surprise pregnancy, found family.

Leo is a star hockey player for the NHL Team The Grizzly's. He isn't into romance, relationships. He likes one and done. He like meet women at clubs / bars. He doesn't seem interested in the 'nice' girls. He and Harper met at one of the teammates baby showers she was catering. They both had a good time together and slept together. Two months later, Harper finds out she is pregnant. A short time later Leo finds her at her shop throwing up along with all the pregnancy sticks on the sink. Leo knows she hasn't been with anyone else, although he can't say the same.

Harper is a caterer and has slowly made friends with the girls from the Grizzlies guys, they’re becoming some of her closest friends. Harper grew up in a single mom household. Harper wants to keep the baby. But, she isn't sure how she can afford taking 6 weeks off from her business and have a baby. She is working nonstop to get money in her bank account for the 'next' phase of her life when baby comes and she can't work.

Leo and Harper agree to be friends after he stocks her up with ginger candies and food she can actually keep down in her stomach. Leo has had past heart ache, and that's why he doesn't really do relationships. But, when he is apart from Harper he can't ever stop thinking about her.

Will Leo give his and Harpers new friendship / relationship a go? Will Leo be able to give part of himself he hasn't shown anyone in so long? Will Harper be able to trust Leo?
