We first meet Ashland McCarthy right after he has won a fight. He hears screaming coming from down the street and finds Bianca being manhandled by people she doesn't know, who he doesn't know. He scares them off and lets her go. Only to stalk her for the next 6 years. Ashland watches Bianca going to school, going out with her friends, being at home. He wants to be with her, but, is worried that their age difference no one would be able to welcome them with open arms. Ashland sees a chance to help Bianca escape being with Marcus, and he kidnapps her. 

We first meet Bianca White when she is 18. She graduates college at 20. She's engaged to Marcus, and will be married within 3 months. Marcus and her mother have set up this arrangement Bianca isn’t a fan of Marcus’s. Marcus has a dark past that his brother a police officer has helped cover up. 

Ashland kidnaps Bianca the night Marcus told her to move in with him. Ashland thought he was keeping her safe this way. As Ashland knows Marcus’s dark past with other girls he’s dated. Ashland thinks he is saving Bianca. But it actually backfires on him where all Bianca wants to do is run away. 

Will Ashland be able to prove to Bianca what a horrible man Marcus is? Or will Bianca be too upset with him after she learns he’s been stalking / watching her for the past 6 years. Is he a protector? Or is he just harming a relationship that could have been something wonderful?

ARC Book Review - Heart of Frost and Scars, (Frozen Fate #3), by Pam Godwin

  Book Rating:  This is the 3rd book in the series, the conclusion of the series. You do need to read the other 2 books prior, as this continues where book 2 left off. We have Leonid, Kody, Frankie and Monty. Monty has opened his home / island to Leonid, Kody & Frankie to live in and recover. The three take the guest house next to the main house Monty is in.  Frankie starts getting text messages and phone calls from a blocked / restricted number. No one is sure who is sending them. Other than she is being watched and the person at the other end knows what everyone in the house is doing. Frankie now has a stalker.  Leonid and Kody seem to be adapting well to living in Sitka and the area. They are going out in public, and doing normal things.  The 2 now have cell phones thanks to Monte, and have been learning about the new technology. Leonid & Kody are fiercely protective of Frankie.
