This is a POV from Jillian but also has POV from a true crime podcast that is also going on listing the crimes that Jillian is in town investigating.  

Jillian Thorne, is from Blue Gil, a small town in Michigan. Once she graduated high school she left, she didn't return. Now that one of her classmates has died, she is back in the small town to find out how he died. Jillian lives out in California and works on a few Hollywood Crime Shows with researching how the crime occured. 

Craig Gilbert, Blue Gil high school teacher, and beloved football coach recently passed away. But, was it by accident? Or did someone kill Craig on purpose? Who was Craig involved with? Was he messing around with high school girls? Was he not happily married?

Growing up in Blue Gil, Jillian remembers there being a few 'missing' from the town. When she was young, there were 2 girls, who were murdered, and its still a cold case, no one knows what happened to the 2 girls. Not every crime is solved or even reported. 

Can Jillian figure out what happened to Craig? Will she be able to solve if he was involved in an accident or if he was murdered?

  Book Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lila Ferrante, grew up with everyone thinking she had the mind of a 5 year old. Her mother told everyone she was simple minded. ARC Book Review - Twisted Pawn (Society of Villains, #2) by L.J. Shen

  Book Rating:    We meet most of the same characters from Book 1, Bad Bishop. I recommend reading book 1, Bad Bishop as the characters, history are explained. Book 2, picks up where Bad Bishop leaves off.      Book Tropes:  Enemies to Lovers, Second Chance, Morally grey hero,  Obsessed , Stalker, Slow Burn.  Tierney Callaghan & Achilles  met when they were teenagers and they were mostly together dating in secret through their high school days. Tierney and  Tiernan Callaghan  are twins. They were taken as babies and raised in a Russian work camp. They both have  trauma   from that experience. Both were raised as killers and can fight with the best of them. Tierney doesn't need the bodyguards Achilles makes guard her, she's her own bodyguard.
