ARC Book Review - Try Again, Baby (The Wells Brothers), by Julia Wolf

Book Rating:⭐⭐⭐⭐

Book Tropes: Second Chance Romance, Sports Romance, Surprise Pregnancy, Contemporary, Found Family, Billionaire

Ben Wells grew up in a wealthy family, he is also a professional rugby player. Ben has a identical Twin, Roman who some have met in a previous book, By The Letter, and he also has 2 other brothers. Ben and his brother didn't have a loving mother / father / parent relationship. They were only showed off in public when it would benefit the family mainly. Now they are all grown up and have wealth on their own. They all live next to each other and are all a very tight group of siblings.

When we first meet Mazzy Emerson she is a mess. She is at an airport in New Zealand, trying to get home to the USA. BUT, she has no money, and the airline workers won't listen to her sob story and give in. A man behind her in line pays for a business class ticket for her and they sit next to each other on a plane. They seem to hit things off. When the plane has to make an emergency landing, they continue to be together, and spend the night together also.  A few years later we find that Mazzy is working on a family law degree. She is a single mother of a 4.5 yr old. But, she has her aunt and cousin that live next to her that help her any time. She tried to contact Ben once is the past 5  yrs but never 'found' him.

When Mazzy & Ben finally reunite they aren't sure about being with each other. Ben is 10 yrs older than Mazzy. Ben is playing rugby and living his life, while Mazzy is still in school and working. Ben takes an instant liking to Mazzy's daughter, Katty who looks exactly like him. Ben finds out Katty is his and he doesn't want to be apart from them. Ben wants to be with Mazzy too, and wants to 'date' her with their daughter around. Seems like they are doing the relationship backwards. But they do finally work things out together.
