Jace Walker is a member of the Walker boys/clan. He has 4 other brother's we've met in the other books. Jace loves music, he's been in a local band for 10 years playing bars and gigs around their small town in Texas. Sometimes he gets invited to go on tour and is able to play to a little bit larger crowds. His band was invited to be an opening act for the summer concert series. But, Jace was found out he has a baby girl, who is almost 1 yrs old. How can he go on a tour when he has a baby? There is no way he can practice and do the nightly shows. 

Aurora "Rory" Anderson is the small towns librarian. However, after 2 weeks of rain, the roof of the library collapses, and now Rory is out of a job! The mayor won't return her calls. Her friends said it was up to the historical society to make the repairs on the library, but the town counsel has to vote on that first. Who knows how long this will take to be repaired! She doesn't know what to do! 

The ladies Jace's brothers are with make a suggestion that Aurora become Jace's nanny on the tour. She needs a place to stay and a job, where else would be better than a tour bus? Aurora isn't sure about that since she's such a introvert. She doesn't do well with large crowds and noise. How could she be around all of that with a baby? Jace asks the management team if he can bring his daughter and nanny along, and was told no, only married couples are allowed. Now can he marry Aurora for the sake of being able to see his daughter daily? How can he make this work with Aurora? They seem like suck opposites but Jace has always liked her even though he's barely spoken with her. Will Aurora be ok with marrying him? What will his bandmates think? Could he sell this with the managers and record label?

Will Aurora get her heartbroken like before? Will Jace be able to see what's in front of him with Aurora and his new baby girl? There is more than just music but will Jace be able to see that?  Jace has a stalker, or does the band have a stalker?

  Book Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lila Ferrante, grew up with everyone thinking she had the mind of a 5 year old. Her mother told everyone she was simple minded. ARC Book Review - Twisted Pawn (Society of Villains, #2) by L.J. Shen

  Book Rating:    We meet most of the same characters from Book 1, Bad Bishop. I recommend reading book 1, Bad Bishop as the characters, history are explained. Book 2, picks up where Bad Bishop leaves off.      Book Tropes:  Enemies to Lovers, Second Chance, Morally grey hero,  Obsessed , Stalker, Slow Burn.  Tierney Callaghan & Achilles  met when they were teenagers and they were mostly together dating in secret through their high school days. Tierney and  Tiernan Callaghan  are twins. They were taken as babies and raised in a Russian work camp. They both have  trauma   from that experience. Both were raised as killers and can fight with the best of them. Tierney doesn't need the bodyguards Achilles makes guard her, she's her own bodyguard.
