ARC Book Review - Grumpily Yours (Stick Taps) by Teagan Hunter
Book Rating:

Ezra, is grumpy ex–NHL player who owns a cidery. He had a career ending injury in the NHL. Ever since he's been out of the NHL he’s been bitter about his injury. He often works in the office at the cidery preferring to work behind the computer instead of up front with customers / staff. Ezra has a lead foot when he drives, he like to go fast, he misses the thrill of being on the ice and going fast. Ezra just got out of another speeding ticket from Sheriff Turner, as long as he hires Summer to help him at the cidery.
Summer Turner has lived in Port Harbor, Washington, most of her life. She left to go away to culinary school, and to work for a restaurant in Chicago. But, her father, Sheriff Turner had a heart issue she came back to her small town. She had a melt down at her kitchen in Chicago, and now she's afraid to go back into the kitchen. Summer got in trouble at the Mid-Summer Fling, and now wants her to work for Ezra at his Cidery.
Both Summer and Ezra are grumpy at the situation they are now involved in. Neither want to work close to each other. But, Summer can't help but wonder if the cidery should have a working kitchen in it? What happened to them having food along with the hard cider. Summer and Ezra start working closely with each other, and then they really start to have feelings for each other. Is it just one sided, or does the grump Ezra have feelings for her too?
