ARC Book Review - The Irresistible One, (The Weston Group #4), by Marni Mann

Book Tropes: naughty enemies to lovers, single dad, single mom, hate to love, sex club, power plays, billionaire romance. 

Colson is the next brother on the Westin Family. He has power and wealth. He wants for nothing. He is on good terms with his ex - the mother of his 4 yr old. When he has Sophie at the night club he knows he can’t get enough of her. But when he sees her again across the boardroom 2 months later he knows it her instantly.  How is it she is commanding the boardroom but is not that way in the bedroom. She gives up control where it counts the most, Colson knows he needs to be his true dom self and control her that’s what she needs and craves. 

Sophie is a young attorney who is a partner at her law firm. She has 1 true brother and 4 others they consider brothers / family also. Sophie grew up in foster care, and knows how both sides of the world live, she been diet poor and ultra wealthy. When she goes up against the Weston family she is shocked to see Colson across the table from her. She knows she plays hardball and is out for blood with the merger. But she knows she can’t give into Colson and his family either. 

Both Colson and Sophie have younger daughters in gymnastics and both go to the same gymnastics studio. Now that Sophie is on Colson’s radar he sees her everywhere. But will just meeting up with her at the club be enough or will they need to start dating? Will Sophie be able to change her thoughts of hating Colson? Will Colson be able to see Sophie and not hate her for being in the opposite side?

ARC Book Review - Bad Bishop, (Society of Villains #1), LJ Shen

  Book Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lila Ferrante, grew up with everyone thinking she had the mind of a 5 year old. Her mother told everyone she was simple minded. ARC Book Review - Twisted Pawn (Society of Villains, #2) by L.J. Shen

  Book Rating:    We meet most of the same characters from Book 1, Bad Bishop. I recommend reading book 1, Bad Bishop as the characters, history are explained. Book 2, picks up where Bad Bishop leaves off.      Book Tropes:  Enemies to Lovers, Second Chance, Morally grey hero,  Obsessed , Stalker, Slow Burn.  Tierney Callaghan & Achilles  met when they were teenagers and they were mostly together dating in secret through their high school days. Tierney and  Tiernan Callaghan  are twins. They were taken as babies and raised in a Russian work camp. They both have  trauma   from that experience. Both were raised as killers and can fight with the best of them. Tierney doesn't need the bodyguards Achilles makes guard her, she's her own bodyguard.
